  • The Milwaukee Road Steam Engine 261 was built in 1944 and retired in 1954. In 1993, it was rebuilt and returned to service as an excursion train.  It is based in Minneapolis.

  • I walked up from the parking lot at Fort Snelling State Park and followed a trail to a spot beneath the landing lights. I photographed several aircraft coming over, but this one was directly over the landing lights and the sun was just right.  Then the deputy walked in and told me I had to leave. I said "Yes, Sir!"  I had my shot.
