This is the classic "Milepost 13" view of Utah's Monument Valley. It is one of the most photographed views in the country. Made popular by many old western films, it saw a resurgence after the movie "Forrest Gump" filmed a scene with this view. One way to make it more than a tourist snapshot is to take a panoramic composite with a telephoto lens. This is four shots in vertical format at 250mm. It brings the monuments closer without sacrificing any of the foreground.
