Timeless Big Sky

Somewhere in the Madison River Valley, these Tipi poles stand on the property of friends. They put them up every summer to honor their heritage and interest in Native culture. Stepping outside one cool evening while visiting, I saw this dramatic composition. The constrictions of time disappeared as I contemplated the stars and the history of humans on our planet.
