Wild River Skies

How did the stars get in front of the clouds, you might wonder? Because the sky was exposed for a full three minutes, using a star-tracker that followed the sky and prevented the stars from streaking as they moved. During this time, high clouds were moving in, but were thin enough that stars were visible at times during the long exposure. The tracked sky shot was combined with a steady foreground shot to complete the photo.
