CCC Picnic Tables

Walking the basalt shelf on a calm, cool evening at Gooseberry Park, you can nearly have the place to yourself. The picnic tables were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's. Skilled stonemasons constructed most of the parks buildings in that era.
